What would it be like to feel like yourself again? So often in life, we push others away when we feel our worst. The things we enjoy quickly depart with them. We are left engulfed in feelings of hopelessness and despair, losing our sense of self and purpose. Although these issues are our responsibility, we don’t need to address them on our own. Therapy can help.
I believe that we are not museums meant to preserve our negative experiences. Our past issues can be resolved. Through the resolution of past experiences, we are able to enter into a loving relationship with ourselves. We are able to settle into the moment and be truly present in life for the first time. As your therapist, I’m here to listen to you, support you, and hold space for you to discover this resolution. I meet you where you are and work with you to accomplish the vision you have for your life.
Experienced and compassionate
As a clinical social worker for 16 years, I bring a depth of expertise to our therapeutic relationship. I’ve had the privilege to work with diverse populations throughout my career, leading to a greater understanding of people, places, and cultures. Although I was raised in the beloved Mitten, I also spent significant time working in rural West Virginia, where I graduated with my Masters in Social Work and Graduate Certificate in Women’s Studies. In addition to the aforementioned, I also possess extensive experience working in community mental health, the US Armed Forces, addictions, hospice, and various medical environments. Please reach out with any questions, I’m here to support you along the way.
