You don’t need a new day to start over, you only need a new mindset.” – Hazel Hira Ozbek

You’ve Made The First Step

Hi, my name is Jennifer. I am a licensed Clinical Social Worker. I have 13 years of experience providing therapy and life coaching in rural Michigan in multiple different settings, including community mental health, outpatient programs, in homes, in schools, and in virtual settings. I enjoy working with a diverse range of people helping them overcome barriers, work through challenges and everyday life obstacles

I believe each person is unique

I will provide a non-judgmental, validated, empathetic, and safe virtual environment where I will help you build your unique plan for success. I will provide support in helping you reach the goals you have set for yourself and your life. I will meet you where you are and empower you to find your inner strength.

My approach is…

Eclectic and often includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). I also focus on empowering the individual and working to build self-esteem and confidence to reach one’s goals and full potential. I have had the privilege working with people of all age ranges from pregnancy and birth to middle age and beyond. I have a master’s degree in Social Work from Grand Valley University and my bachelor’s degree in Health and Human Services from The University of Phoenix. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family on our farm, camping, hiking, and hunting. I enjoy reading, crafting, woodworking, and being outdoors.
